It is important for students, faculty, and staff to remember that we are located in a virtual setting. The safety and security of the Academy is the combined responsibility of the entire community.
Virtual crimes are criminal offenses
committed via the Internet or otherwise aided by various forms of computer technology, such as the use of online social networks to bully others or sending sexually explicit digital photos with a smart phone.
Each of you must assume a personal responsibility by taking precautions to prevent yourself from becoming a victim. The more people are looking out for one another, the more effective we will be at collectively protecting our community.
