Scholarship Assistance

In accordance to our commitment to serve the sons and daughters of God, the Academy offers

scholarships to students for the payment of tuition and fees who demonstrate financial need or looking to save money.

Our scholarship program is designed to encourage all qualified students — regardless of

financial circumstances — to consider applying for admission to Ira Curry Leadership Academy

We make a promise to every admitted student: your financial circumstances will not keep you from Curry.

IRA CURRY HOLDINGS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The Ira Curry Holdings Scholarship is awarded as part of the admissions process. No separate application is required to be considered for this scholarship.

To be considered for an ICH scholarship, applicants must complete their admissions application (including all supporting materials) and have an interview before December 22.

Requirement: The applicant must complete their admissions application before the application deadline.

IRA CURRY ROYAL PRIESTHOOD SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The Ira Curry Royal Priesthood Scholarship discounts $100 off tuition, which in 2023–24 is $997.00, and is credited to the student’s account on his or her behalf.

A limited number of scholarships are given annually to select academy students.

If you would like to apply for the Ira Curry Royal Priesthood scholarship please complete your scholarship application before the scholarship deadline.

Requirement: The applicant must be a first-time applicant and submit application before Dec. 15.

What Evidence is Needed to Prove Economic Hardship?

Proving an economic hardship often requires a lot of paperwork as evidence. Evidence often submitted with an application include things like:

• Proof of income (pay stubs, offer letter, etc.)

• Tax Returns (two years worth of returns)

• Profit and Loss statement

• Current bank statements

• an Affidavit or Hardship letter

The hardship letter can be an important part of the evidence if drafted right. In this letter, you want to tell your story. How did you get to where you are now? Illness? Injury? Job termination? Divorce? Death in the family?

How has this affected your ability to pay tuition?

To maximize effectiveness, the letter must be both honest and compelling and supported by the other evidence.
